Saint Paul Almanac seeking submissions for its 2015 edition
|Artwork by Andy Singer|
Saint Paul Almanac wants to hear all about it, as it's accepting creative submissions for its ninth edition through December 15.
For writers, the organization recommends that folks aims for personal, detailed, and advertisement-free (seriously, this is not the time to plug your business). Stories should be kept to 650 words or less.
If you're an photographer, the selection board is looking for images that capture the people (neighbors, patrons, visitors), places (bars, parks, zoos), and happenings (festivals, protests, ice-cream socials) of St. Paul. Are you more of an artist? Drawings and other artwork will be accepted as well. Added bonus: If they publish your work, you will get paid a modest fee.
For more info on submitting pieces, check out the Saint Paul Almanac's website.
