30 Days of Biking partners with Free Bikes 4 Kidz
For 2014, the folks behind the challenge are sweetening the deal. This morning, they announced a partnership with the charitable organization Free Bikes 4 Kidz.

Free Bikes 4 Kidz collects and gives away bicycles to children who otherwise could not afford one, passing on bike love and culture to another generation. Its first year saw 300 bikes given away, and in following years the group's total giveaway reached into the thousands.
For the 30 Days of Biking challenge, a kid will receive a bike for every 30 pledges made. The group hopes to max out at 300 bikes given away. That means they will have to receive 9,000 pledges -- more than twice what they received last year. So far, they're at 2,104, which is a pretty good start.
As usual, during 30 Days there will be a variety of bike-related happenings to get cyclists pumped up, and this year there will be quite a few heartwarming fundraisers for Free Bikes 4 Kidz. In addition to 30 Days sponsorship dollars going to the cause, merchandise proceeds will also be used for good, and on April 19 Adam Turman will help throw a benefit party where 30 canvases of art will be sold.
