Be a contestant on Wheel of Fortune
The process is as glamorous as you would expect. At each event, you will be greeted by the Wheel of Fortune Wheelmobile (a giant Winnebago), where you will fill out a color-coded form an hour before audition tapings. Next, folks will play a mini-version of the game for WoF trinkets and T-shirts.
If you pass with flying colors, in a few months you might actually find yourself onstage getting interviewed by Pat Sajak on national television.
At each event, three shows will be taped. Hopeful contestants need only show up an hour beforehand to fill out an application. Showtimes are at 6 p.m., 7:30 p.m., and 9 p.m. at Grand Casino Mille Lacs; and at noon, 1:30 p.m., and 3: p.m. at Grand Casino Hinckley. Each show taping lasts an hour.
The Winnebago audition schedule is as follows:
When: Friday, June 6 from 6 to 10 p.m.
Where: Grand Casino Mille Lacs
When: Sunday, June 8 from noon to 4 p.m.
Where: Grand Casino Hinckley
