After 11 weeks, 97 other comedians, numerous challenges, and Twin Cities love, Last Comic Standing has it's final three.

Next week, Rod Man, Nikki Carr, and Lachlan Patterson will compete in the two-hour season finale, with the winner taking home $250,000 and an NBC development deal.

In order to reach the finale, each of the comics performed one more set for the judges this week. While it's been refreshing to see so much focus on the actual standup this season, watching the same performers perform every single week for the past few episodes has started to wear a little thin in terms of keeping things fresh.

One welcome addition to this week's episode was a season-retrospective package about each contestant and their experiences throughout the show.

Just as they have in past weeks, each comic delivered a solid set, though no one really showed anything different in terms of persona or writing. Based on the judges' feedback, it seems like Rod Man and Lachlan Patterson were the two frontrunners to win the whole show, although this season has proven that no one is safe.

Joe Machi's set was arguably the best of the evening, as he has refused to abandon his awkward and somewhat dark material, which has made him the most unique personality of the season. It almost felt like he was challenging the judges and the audience to react differently, between jokes about paying teachers less, ass-hair, and losing his virginity. Unfortunately, the judges didn't see it the same way, as Machi was sent packing.

Next week's episode will feature full sets from each of the three finalists, along with performances by Roseanne, Russell Peters, and the winner of the online Comic Comeback contest, Allingon Mitra.

In addition, you'll have the opportunity to see all five of this season's finalist live onstage on November 15, when the Last Comic Standing tour rolls through Mystic Lake Casino. Tickets aren't available just yet, but should be on sale in the next few weeks.
