Presidential feast at North Coast

Chef Ryan Aberle is among the most creative chefs tucked out in the suburbs and this Saturday at Northcoast (click this link at the risk of being innundated by smooth jazz) in Wayzata, he'll be showing off his chops, er medallions actually--

gingerbread-crusted monkfish medallions, to be precise, served with pineapple and kiwi carpaccio and a nutmeg beurre blanc. And that's just the first course. The six-course meal features wines selected to represent American wineries at various White House State dinners, so if you're looking to celebrate an Obama victory this weekend, Northcoast looks like a good bet.
