Pop, pop, fizz, fizz: your daily dose of cool stuff

Most of Glassman's Pop Fizz picks, sent out via a daily email, tend towards jewelery or candles, but occasionally she includes foodie items, like the Seizer.
This handmade kitchen tool is among those made by local woodworker John Danicic (who happens to be the husband of the Strib's Kim Ode). It's an ash wood tong called the Seizer (use it to lift a slice out of the toaster without electrocuting yourself), but Danicic also makes expandable trivits, stirring utensils, and more, that are available on his website or at several cooking shops, art center and museum gift shops, etc.
