Drink of the Week: Pepito's margarita
If you're not reading this from a Cancun beach chair, it's time for one of Pepito's margaritas.
Joe and Sue Minjares launched Pepitos Mexican restaurant in 1975, long before Chipotle was a twinkle in McDonald's eye, and quickly established itself as a favorite south Minneapolis hangout for its authentic food and warm hospitality. (What other Mexican restaurant in town has free valet parking?) If you're drinking, bypass the Carlo Rossi Sangria for one of the margaritas--served over ice, frozen, straight up, or flash blended. We're partial to a fruity one, with a sweet-and-sour rim. It's especially good at taking the edge off if you've just retrieved your car from the impound lot.
