Because we love trafficking in rumors ...
Rumor has it the Travel Channel has axed its plans to film an episode of its Man v. Food show in the Twin Cities this week (unless they're like all trying to throw us off, in which case, good job guys!).
The show's site says this season includes just 17 episodes -- the Twin Cities had been slated to be the 18th. Andrew Zimmern had promised to take host Adam Richman to belly up to Brasa's steam table and everything.
A related rumor had it that competitive eater Patrick "Deep Dish" Bertoletti was hoping to take Richman on while he was in town.
