Bacon lives! The LA Times has chimed in to air its views on The Big Money's recent pronouncement that the pork product's celebrity status has expired.

Case in point, the paper says, is ongoing celebrity promotions for bacon, including a new Hardee's advertisement for the chain's Bacon Western Thickburger (it feels gross to just say that) with Top Chef's Lakshmi Padma.
The post includes a fun(ny) reminder of manymany bacony things you can eat, make and do. Personal faves: bacon bath salts, the bacon pinata and bacon currency.
