Twin Cities wine institution Haskell's has purchased Stillwater's family-run Sutler's Wines & Spirits the Stillwater Courier reports.

This will bring the number of shops Haskell's owns to 12, all in the Twin Cities area except for one in Faribault and one in Naples, Fla.

Both parties seem pleased with the exchange. Haskell's manager Steve Lyons described Sutler's to the Courier as "by far the best store on this side of the Twin Cities."

Haskell's says it plans to expand Sutler's inventory to include perhaps 2,000 additional wines.
