RIP Cork's

The St. Cloud times reports that Cork's restaurant and wine bar has closed its doors.

That's probably not a big deal to most Twin Citians, but for those who live in or travel to the area, it's a major blow. St. Cloud's restaurant scene is pretty, well, let's just say you have your choice between Perkin's and a place where the booths look like covered Conestoga wagons (cool atmosphere, actually, but mediocre food). Cork's was, so far as I know, the only game in town for a special occasion dinner, due to its serious wine list and sophisticated decor, so its closure leaves that niche unfilled.
