Perhaps you have been wondering quietly to yourself, "Just how long is the world's longest hot dog?" We are here to tell you:

Measuring in at 104.75 feet, this hot dog created in 2006 by the Franz Family Bakery in Portland, Oregon, is the longest known hot dog--not to mention hot dog bun-- EVER. Why would someone make the world's longest hot dog, you might now be wondering? To celebrate the Franz Family Bakeries one hundredth birthday, that's why. This topped Sara Lee's 1996 attempted to make the world's longest hot dog-- although the Sara Lee hot dog was one long wiener, the bun was made from many small buns which disqualified it from being the longest hot dog in the Guiness Book of World records.
