City Pages 17th Annual Beer Festival tomorrow

If you love beer, welcome to beer heaven. City Pages' 17th annual Beer Festival takes place tomorrow (May 30) from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. Sample more than 120 brews from Minnesota and around the world--everything from Big Sky and Blue Moon to Surly and Summit. The outdoor beer blowout has a bigger and better new home this year, near 10th and Hennepin in downtown Minneapolis, about a block from the Orpheum Theatre. While you're swigging, you can also be scarfing on food from Buffalo Wild Wings and Old Chicago Pizza. Entertainment will be provided by White Iron Band. Tickets are $30 ($8 for designated drivers), but $45 will get you into the special VIP section, where you'll be treated to unlimited samples of Michelob's new Honey Wheat and complimentary appetizers.
