Once again, Austin, MN (aka SPAM Town, USA), the location of last week's SPAMburger Festival brings on the weekend fun.
The Minnesota in May BBQ Competiton will be held in Austin this Saturday and Sunday-- May 15th and 16th. Celebrate all-things-meat at this annual event sponsored by the Kansas City BBQ Society. The guy or gal with the most kick-ass BBQ skills will receive a $10,000 prize. Categories include: pork shoulder/butt, brisket, dessert, and anything SPAM (natch). And, if all this is not enough, admission is free (food is not).
