Beer: a better rehydrator than water?

We love the idea of sweaty bodies swigging from beer-filled Nalgenes post-workout. Or how about beer-filled water coolers? Scientists may just start recommend the practice if this recently-released research out of Spain's Granada University gains any traction. Imagine the Budweiser ads!
"Based on the results of the study, researchers recommend moderate consumption of beer as a part of athletes' diets. "Moderate consumption" for men is 500ml per day, and for women is 250ml per day."
