Coming soon: Fresh Taste Festival
Tickets are a honking $55 but next Sunday's (that'd be Sunday, Aug. 9) Fresh Taste Festival at the Nicollet Island Pavilion will be a literal who's who of local food and drink awesomeness: Chowgirls Catering, Flat Earth Brewing, Hope Creamery, Sea Change, and Tour de Farm are just a few of the exhibitors to be on hand for the afternoon event.

There will also be several chef demos, from Raghavan Iyer of the hotly-anticipated OM, the Strip Club's J.D. Fratzke and Michelle Gayer of the Salty Tart. Several winemakers from across the country will be on hand as well, discussing organic and biodynamic wines. We know, we know, it's just a marketing event, but how often do you get to corral a critical mass of all your favorite restaurants and food producers in one place, with boatloads of fresh samples?
