"Sturgis of Organic" this wknd @ Kickapoo Country Fair

 According to its organizers, Harley riders have Sturgis, music lovers have South by Southwest, film fans have Sundance, and organic food lovers have the Kickapoo Country Fair. Sponsored by Organic Valley (the Wisconsin-based co-op of some 1,300 small-scale organic farmers), the events this Saturday and Sunday are a good excuse to make trip to the the pastoral paradise of southwestern Wisconsin (there's a reason Frank Lloyd Wright was so inspired by the verdant, rolling terrain).

According to OV, activities will include: food, music, bike and farm tours, cooking demonstrations, a pig roast, theater, kids' activities, dancing, author readings, and a keynote panel featuring organic pioneers. Weekend passes, which provide access to all activities, are only $10 for adults, $8 for kids 12 and under, and kids five and under are free.
