A Mankato greasy spoon recently hosted both cat and mouse, resulting in a burglary bust that has gotten picked up by the AP, FOXNews, and even a publication in the UK. After investigating a spate of home burglaries, a couple Mankato cops -- subsequently joined by several other officers -- stopped for a break at an area Happy Chef. The four young suspects subsequently pulled in to dine themselves. The Mankato Free Press puts it best:

Although items that had been stolen that night from homes in both Blue Earth County and Le Sueur County were still in the pickup, the three men and one woman inside apparently weren't concerned about pulling up to a restaurant with a row of squad cars outside.

Ah, diners, the great equalizer.
