Now Open: Loring Kitchen & Bar

Loring Kitchen & Bar, the new Loring Park eatery from Burt Joseph (Joseph's catering and Birch's in Long Lake), opened its doors last week. The Loring is in the redeveloped Eitel Building Apartments and takes advantage of park views with lots of full-length windows, an outdoor patio, and semi-enclosed portico. Shea did the design, so the place has some nice aesthetic details with its zinc bar, wine display, chandeliers, etc.

Loring Kitchen & Bar will serve dinner seven days a week and breakfast and lunch on weekends. The menu features homestyle fare--burgers, sandwiches, pizzas, salads, half-chicken, walleye--similar to Birch's.
