Parley Lake Winery grand opening this weekend

A new winery is opening its doors today in Waconia, on Parley Lake. Parley Lake Winery has been in the works for a few years now, a partnership between a Victoria couple and the folks behind Deardorff Orchards. They began planting grapes in 2005. The winery has "Minnesota Farm Winery" status because it uses at least 50 percent Minnesoa-grown grapes. 
From the winery's website:
Our 125 rolling, wooded acres are adjacent to the Carver Park Reserve and offer the chance to experience 7 acres of Vineyards, 20 acres of orchards, and locally grown and produced wines.
Très bucolic, no?
