Sprout.mn offers green dining deals

My pal Megan Collins and her family recently launched a new website, www.sprout.mn, to help locals connect with green merchants--everything from clothing shops to home remodelers. I was particularly interested in the site's restaurant/food sections, which list sustainability minded eateries and food vendors along with lots of coupons/deals. Some of the deals are standards (Monday Cheap Date Nights at the BLB, etc.), but I found several new ones, such as Burger & Beer Sundays at the Birchwood (2 burgers + a pitcher of beer for $30) as well as a very useful Clancey's coupon ($5 off a purchase of $25 purchase). Check the "events" section, too, for co-op classes (Kombucha 101 at the Wedge!) and food celebrations, like the upcoming Cheese and Apple festival at the Midtown Global Market. logo.bmp
