Jetting off to see grandma this weekend? Dodging the holiday completely and heading for Aruba? Unless you're going to Singapore or Dubai or thereabouts, you might be sorta sunk in the food department. (But maybe you already knew that.) Zagat released its annual airline survey this week, which includes some feedback about airline food.

USA Today reports that Singapore Airlines and Emirates topped the list. And of the others:

Of U.S. airlines - including many that have cut back on food expenses or eliminated meals -Virgin America received the best food score for coach passengers on domestic flights. United Airlines was ranked best for food for coach passengers on international flights.

No word on hometown heroes Delta/Northwest fare, though Delta tied for second with American Airlines in the "Large Domestic Premium Class" category and came in fourth in the "Large Domestic Economy Class" category. Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport won mention as one of the country's best airports. The poll included feedback from nearly 6,000 fliers.
