The appeal of an ice bar -- subzero temperatures and down-filled layers be damned -- is undeniable. After all, what better way to embrace cold weather than to drink and be merry in it? Well, it's time to embrace the (impending) cold. The Chambers Hotel ice bar opens in its courtyard this afternoon at 4 p.m., with specials and turkey bowling to follow at 7 p.m. We recommend the White Russian.
