Always a bummer to see a local business bite the dust. Heavy Table brings word that Premier Cheese Market will be closing its doors for good Dec. 6. The shop announced the news via its email newsletter which says, in part:
Sadly, the present downturn has finally caught up to us, and we must end this incarnation of Premier Cheese Market.
Check out a post local blogger Jill Lewis wrote about Premier last year and a more recent interview she did with owner Ken Liss.
The shop has made its home at 50th and France since August 2006.
