Punch at Stadium Village celebrates its grand opening

How do you attract customers to a new business on campus? Offer them free pizza and booze, of course. Punch Neapolitan Pizza's newest location at Stadium Village will be doing exactly that this Saturday. Click for details after the jump. This Saturday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. anyone can stop by the Stadium Village restaurant (802 Washington Ave. SE, Minneapolis; 612.331.3122) to try some free pizza, wine, and beer. Though it is indeed a free opening party, guests are encouraged to donate money to the Children's Cancer Research Fund. Punch will match up to the first $5,000.

Most college students eat epic amounts of crappy pizza throughout their academic career: frozen crusts, canned veggie toppings, and waxy cheese. No good. So in theory they should enjoy the made from scratch, wood-fired varieties offered at Punch.
