The Twins' season opener at the new Target Field is less than five months away! And with it will come some local fare. The team reports that it will be selling steak sandwiches inspired by the iconic downtown Minneapolis steak joint Murray's (Anyone willing to wager on what likely-to-be obscene amount it will cost?):

A version of the well-known Murray's steak sandwich will be served at multiple Mill City Grill concession locations throughout the ballpark. The Murray's steak sandwich at Target Field will be made with choice sirloin steak, provolone cheese and served on a fresh ciabatta roll from Minneapolis's Franklin Street Bakery.

Team concessionaire Delaware North Sportservice will reportedly be unveiling other locally-inspired treats to be served at the new ballpark as the season draws closer. Stay tuned. The Twins' first home game in the new stadium is April 2 against St. Louis.
