Fusion replaces Zeno in Uptown

The fact that the word "dessert" isn't even spelled right on its new website suggests Zeno has most definitely bitten the dust. The Uptown dessert restaurant is in the process of making an unlikely transformation into a full-scale restaurant and sushi bar.

The reincarnation, under the same management as Zeno, will be called Fusion. The restaurant's website says that, in addition to sushi, "small to medium plates also abound, where the bold flavors of Latin America meet the refined flavors of the Far East, complex spice of the Mediterranean and India, and comfort of Classic American Cuisine."

Website photos suggest this "journey across the world" will also include pasta dishes, cheese plates, and carrot cake.

The Southwest Journal says that the new menu will be fully rolled out once remodeling is complete in the next several weeks. Fusion's sushi bar is already available, and Zeno's desserts are slated to remain as well.
