Deschutes beer coming to Minnesota
Deschutes Beer is coming to Minnesota. The Bend, Oregon, brewery has seven year-round brews, two of which -- the Black Butte Porter (the brewery's "flagship") and the Mirror Pond Pale Ale -- will be available around town starting the week of March 29. According to the Twin Cities A.V. Club, the beers will be on tap at Buster's and the Blue Plate Restaurants -- Edina Grill, Longfellow Grill, Highland Grill, and the Groveland Tap.

The brewery's got a serious case of the warm 'n' fuzzies for Minn.:
"Minnesota is a place where people are passionate about their beer", said Gary Fish, Deschutes Brewery's founder and president. "Getting our beer to more people who want it and are passionate about it has been part of our plan for quite a while, and we are looking forward to developing that relationship in Minnesota, starting with our two most popular beers. The response so far has been outstanding."
Aww. Looking forward to checking out the beers ...
