James Beard Media Awards honor several locals

Several locals took home awards at the James Beard Media Awards last night. One of the big winners was event MC Andrew Zimmern, whose Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern" earned him the Best TV Food Personality Award. Dara Moskowitz Grumdahl of Minnesota Monthly also earned an award for Writing on Spirits, Wine, or Beer, with an excerpt from her book, Drink This: Wine Made Simple. Also, San Francisco-based Chow.com earned the Best Website award, which includes James Norton's Supertaster column. Congratulations to all three!
