Nonna Rosa's: Coming Soon

Robbinsdale's best-known restaurant, Thistles, closed on New Year's Eve 2009. Very soon, the owners promise, an authentic Italian restaurant, Nonna Rosa's, will take its place at 4148 West Broadway. Nonna Rosa's is named after chef and co-owner Francesco Suglia's mother, Rosa, and he'll be running the place with his wife/co-owner, Tina. Francesco Suglia is from Puglia, Italy, so expect staples like gnocchi, risotto, fresh pasta, and more. They're just finishing up their renovations (check out the photos of the fancy wall work, done w/paint imported from Italy), so watch their website for news of the restaurant's opening.
