Famous Dave's BBQ & Blues Fest Saturday: What's on the menu?

Sure, Famous Dave's annual BBQ & Blues Festival is mostly about the music. And Saturday's performance lineup (at Peavey Plaza in downtown Minneapolis, Nicollet and 11th) will feature a number of top blues acts, including Guitar Shorty, Hubert Sumlin, Pinetop Perkins, Willie "Big Eyes" Smith, the Lamont Cranston Blues Band, and more.

But with the free festivities running from noon to 10:30 at night, a body's got to eat. More specifically, the estimated 25,000 or so bodies got to eat. So what's on the menu?

Ribs, for one thing. Famous Dave's will be grilling its trademark St. Louis-style ribs in two-, four-, six-, and 12-bone slabs, which range in price from $9 to $23 for the full-on slab with two sides. You can also order up four kinds of barbecue sandwiches--chopped pork, chicken, burger, or veggie burger--for $6. You want sides with that? Try beans, coleslaw, potato chips, or corn bread for $2.

If you're a blues fan, bring your hungry self, a few bucks, and maybe some extra napkins.
