Ichiban's chefs walk, restaurant forced to close temporarily

WCCO reports that the about a dozen kitchen staffers at Ichiban walked off the job on Friday because they were unhappy with working conditions and health insurance costs. Remaining staff called those who had made reservations--about 80 people--and told them the restaurant was closed until new staff could be secured. Departing kitchen staff said they would come back if the conflict was resolved, but management has already posted an ad on Craigslist for replacements and reopened for business today.
