If you've had a memorable Saturday night, on Sunday morning you might be thinking of bloody Marys and sleeping in. But for a healthier morning after, head down to the second year of Uptown Market, which opened over the weekend and will run every Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. through September 26.

This year's market promises more food vendors and farmers in the mix of artisans and local musical performers. The opening was a pleasantly sunny day of shoppers, cute kids in strollers, and adorable pups on leashes.

After a long night out Saturday, you'll get a lot more mileage out of an organic falafel and cup of kombucha (courtesy of weekly vendor Foxy Falafel) than you will from a mimosa or a Big Mac. And paying five bucks to watch someone pedal you a smoothie in the summer heat is guaranteed to lift your spirits (it's 50 cents off if you do the pedaling).
