Kabobi RIP

In spite of good food, Kabobi struggled in its suburban digs.
There's hardly any Persian food in the Twin Cities, and now there's less than hardly any with the recent closure of Kabobi in Eden Prairie. The flame-grilled kabob concept had big backing behind it (the Hemisphere group, which owns Atlas Grill and Clubroom and Mission American among other restaurants) but the Star Tribune reports that the owners found the location to be challenging (near a massive park and ride on Technology Drive, by Santorini) and hope to revive the concept in a new spot.
