Dear Dara reports the news on who's going into the Rice Paper spot in Linden Hills as Rice Paper is moving to 50th/France: It's the long-lost Naviya's making a comeback.
Naviya and Kim La Barge owned a Thai restaurant in Grand Marais of all places, then took over the former Ketsana's in Richfield in 2007, then subsequently opened another joint a little further south called Kalico Elephant, all to rave reviews. Recently, Naviya's and the Elephant were closed and sold and the La Barges were considering reopening in the Midtown Global Market. But now those plans have changed and it looks like the Linden Hills restaurant scene just scored a big coup.
