Taste of the Twin Cities Originals to offer competitions and Norwegian sushi
That means the bartenders from 5120 Restaurant and Onyx Bar, Azia Restaurant, Lake Elmo Inn, and Woolley's Steakhouse and chefs from Biella, Ike's Food & Cocktails, San Pedro Café, and Woolley's Steakhouse will have 30 minutes to create a drink or dish that highlights a secret ingredient revealed at the beginning of the competition. And what was that we said about Norwegian sushi?
Yep, the folks at the Town Talk Diner told us they're planning to serve Norwegian sushi, which is smoked salmon, remoulade, sliced avocado, and cucumber rolled in lefse and served with a yogurt dill sauce. If that doesn't please your palate, try the s'mores: smoked chocolate ganache slathered on graham crackers and marshmallows, both house made.
