Two words: State Fair. Mini donuts, animals giving birth, WCCO live, free yardsticks, all the milk you can drink. While you think about what you are going to eat first, let us remind you of all the great food stories that were told. Here are a few of this week's highlights.
~Giant soft drinks in nubby red tumblers, and pizza made in the window while the children watch--Shakey's Pizza is coming back to Minnesota!

~Now is the time to get in all the patio action possible as the season winds down. Not sure which one to visit first? Let Rachel give you the lowdown on the Top 5 Best New Patios in the cities.

~Fuddruckers, why are you quitting us, baby? Monica Wright attempts to get to the bottom of this debacle in her probing inquiry, What the Fudd?

~This week we traveled to Robbinsdale to watch the making of beautiful food in this week's tour of Travail Kitchen and Amusements.

~The fast-food rumor mill churns out the most ridunkulous stories of frightful ingredients and such. Mo Perry sets the record straight as she dubunks (a word that is just not used enough) the Top 5 Restaurant Myths. You may never look at special sauce the same way again.

Have a fun, fried-candy bar type of weekend. See you on Monday.
