Pazzaluna, Tria, & Enjoy offer bottle of wine as birthday freebie
Restaurants often treat birthday diners to a celebratory margarita or dessert, but three Morrissey restaurants--Pazzaluna in St. Paul, Tria in North Oaks, and Enjoy in Apple Valley--are upping the incentive to spend your special dinner with them with what may be the best birthday freebie in town: a complimentary bottle of wine, equal in price to the birthday diner's age.
Hit the century mark and you'll have $100 worth of drinking to do.
In the Morrissey world, birthdays are like wines, they get better with age. A 21 year old, for example, will have $21 to use toward a complimentary bottle of wine at that price or less, or as credit toward a more expensive bottle. A 90 year old will have a $90 credit.
The offer is good anytime during the week of the diner's birthday, but diners must mention the offer to their server at the beginning of their meal, show identification to verify their birth date, and purchase a minimum of two entrees.
So elders, you may not have your own Twitter account or know the lyrics to the latest Lady Ga Ga song, but if you head to Enjoy you can smugly sip your gratis Dom Perignon while the youngsters are relegated to the Ravenswood Cab.
