Next Thursday, Grecco's will celebrate its second anniversary and the restaurant's new dining room and wine bar, with the St. Croix River in autumn as its lovely backdrop. You can sample 50 wines, multiple food stations, and butler-passed hors d'oeuvres--a great value at $25 inclusive.

And as Rachel Hutton recently reported, Grecco is indeed intent on building a dynasty. As for future plans, Grecco is seeking a space to open a third restaurant in Uptown with the concept of tasting menus focusing on farm to fork. "I need to name a restaurant after my second kid, since I already named one [Roman Anthony's] after my first," said the chef.

Grecco also mentioned that their first anniversary party was such a great success--with about 250 people in attendance--that he is very enthused about this annual gathering. "Last year was so much fun, I burnt my pants twice," he laughed.
