Heavy Table and Crispin Cider's autumn mixology contest
Crispin Cider The flavors of autumn.
Do you fancy yourself a fine mixologist? Crispin Cider and Heavy Table are looking for you to share your finest cocktail creations made with Crispin and ingredients of your choice in their Autumn Mixology contest. This is your chance to show the world that you know a thing or two about balance, flavor and scent. Not to mention mouthfeel.
Crispin has six varieties of cider to choose from for an assortment of sweetness and depth, creating a nice palate to mix with fresh herbs, spirits, and bitters. And with fall approaching, many lovely food pairings can be considered--soups, stews, roasted meats and veggies come to mind.
From Heavy Table:
The natural apple flavor of Crispin various artisanal ciders plays well with almost anything -- the possibilities are both numerous and refreshingly delicious. Autumn's around the corner, so we're particularly looking for cocktails that suggest the spice and contrast of the season, as well as cocktails that evoke or complement seasonal food favorites.
You can enter one or both of the following categories:
Lazy Bartender -- The most creative two-pour cocktail. That means Crispin + one other beverage + serving suggestion + an optional garnish.
Creative Mixology -- Anything goes.
You have until Friday, September 24, at midnight to submit your entry (or two) with a digital photo to: firstname.lastname@example.org. For additional rules and details visit the Heavy Table website. The winner of each category will receive a check for $50.
