Marijuana: now available as ice cream
Minnesotans will have to wait for a post-Pawlenty era for the idea of medical marijuana to become a reality in the state, but this story out of California offers a reason to redouble efforts once T-Paw is out the door: Marijuana ice cream exists.
New form of marijuana will give you--and also cure--an ice cream headache
And apparently, it's delicious. Creme de Canna, a medical marijuana dispensary in Soquel, California, decided to create the laced ice cream for patients averse to smoking the product, and the names alone have us excited: Banannabis Foster, Straw-Mari Cheesecake and Triple Chocolate Brownie.
And at $15 apiece, the half-pints of ice cream are expensive but pack a serious punch.
Klodinski said there are about two to four doses of cannabis for each half-pint, which means finishing one would be similar to smoking an eighth of high-grade marijuana, the equivalent of eight joints.
For now its use is for medicinal purposes, but we imagine one day it would also make a very popular Blizzard at Dairy Queen.
