The Depot Tavern starts weekend brunch tomorrow

Not just for nighttime...

The rumors are true--the Depot Tavern will start serving brunch Saturday morning from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. General manager Nate Kranz says they are still tinkering with the menu but First Avenue's diner will be ready tomorrow to dish up some "breakfast classics with a twist." Also, they'lll have featured beverages and honor their regular happy hour drink specials.

On Facebook, the Depot Tavern has teased their followers with just a few reveals of over-the-top entrees.
 
The biscuits in chorizo gravy sound delicious and decadent, but nothing in comparison to what is named the Benedict Burger. It will be an Angus beef burger stuffed with a poached egg and Canadian bacon and smothered in Hollandaise sauce, all on an English muffin. It comes with a side salad too, almost as a tribute to your once healthy heart. Wash it down with a morning standard like a bloody Mary or mimosa..
