With the closing of the beloved Azia and A21 Anemone Sushi on Eat Street, Thom Pham takes on a new endeavor of epic proportions. Renovating the space that last housed Zake, Wondrous Azian Kitchen is bright, spacious, colorful, and fun.

With a sign out front that is a throwback to vintage neon, and a space tipping its hat to the long lost Nankin, Wondrous gives classic Chinese-American dining a fresh twist. The menu is full of comforts like sweet and sour chicken and egg drop soup, but it also has an extensive sushi list, an enormous menu of tempting dishes, and dim sum on the weekends.

The bar and lounge serves lively classics like the Singapore Sling, as well as newly spun cocktails using old-time ingredients like Old Tom gin and Chartreuse. You can tour the new digs in this Wondrous Azian Kitchen slideshow.
