Beautiful food for a great cause.
Eat for Equity (E4E) brings good food and charitable giving together with their monthly dinners, and the group's October event sounds especially fine, with a Native harvest menu to benefit the charity Dream of Wild Health, a Native-owned organic farm in Hugo with an astonishing collection of over 300 indigenous seeds, and which also provides youth and family education on leadership, organic farming, and more.

Saturday's menu will include:

  • Maple syrup glazed delicata squash
  • Hominy sauteed in butter and sage
  • Harvested Wild rice
  • Bison stew
  • Honey Custard with Elderberry syrup
  • Homebrewed beer
  • and surprises are promised...

Dinner and bonfire at the Omega House, a cooperative community and garden.
