According to MInnesota Zoo Director/CEO Lee Ehmke, "The Family Farm CANstructure project is a fun way to showcase the importance of agriculture in Minnesota."
One Spam at a time.
This is said to be the largest contribution of its kind from the Hormel corporation, which is based in Austin, Minnesota. When the exhibit closes, the cans of SPAM and Hormel chili will be donated to the hunger relief organization Second Harvest Heartland.
