West End to lure shoppers with wine bar, crepes, 24-hour diner
St. Louis Park's West End shopping complex is already a restaurant mecca, home to Cooper, Crave, Ringo, Rojo Mexican Grill, Sauce Pizza and Wine, and Toby Keith's I Love This Bar & Grill. If those aren't options aren't enough, the New Orleans-based Doyle Restaurant Group plans to add three more concepts, reports The Business Journal.Coming soon to St. Louis Park: Le Crepe Nanou, Wine Loft, and Huey's 24/7 Diner
La Crepe Nanou will serve French fare including crepes, of course. It will share a kitchen with The Wine Loft, which will have lots small plates (charcuterie, cheese, bruschetta) to pair with its hundreds of bottle and by-the-glass options.
Huey's 24/7 Diner, named after former Louisiana Gov. Huey Long, will serve burgers and fries along with New Orleans staples such as jambalaya. True to its name, Huey's will be open 24 hours a day, which should be a big boon to the suburban students who used to spend the wee hours loitering at the Highway 100/50th Street Perkins.
Doyle Group plans to open the restaurants in early 2011.
