Big E to serve Sunday gospel brunch
After his departure from Bourbon Street Steakhouse a few years back, the Twin Cities most lauded and notorious soul food chef Eric Austin, aka Big E, has been keeping a low profile--well, aside from a brief stint in CJ's gossip column where a bride and groom accused him of flaking on catering their wedding grub.
Big E is back!
Happily, today's Big E news is focused on the upcoming availability of his food: E plans to serve his famous soul food every Sunday, starting December 12 at 11 a.m., at the Wesley Center at 101 E. Grant St. in Loring Park.
Expect local and national choirs, solo singers, celebrity hosts, concerts, specialty concert Sunday dinner shows and of course the best soul food that this city has known. The plan is to solicit donations of $19.99 for adults $12 for kids age 10 and over (under age 10 free).
