Not that we're trying to influence you, but if the latter idea sounds appealing, the folks at the online-reservation site Open Table have helpfully compiled a list of many local restaurants that are planning to celebrate Thanksgiving in style with traditional turkey dinners and fixings, and in many cases their regular menus as well. Here's a rundown of popular local restaurants and what they're planning for Turkey Day.
B.A.N.K.: Gourmet three-course Thanksgiving dinner, $30, or $40 with wine pairings.
Cosmos: Four-course dinner, including traditional Wild Acres turkey or less traditional Swedish meatballs, and a kids' menu. $45 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., with complimentary valet parking
D'Amico Kitchen: Special family-style three-course Italian Thanksgiving dinner will be served from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. for $35 ($15 for kids 12 and under).
Enjoy!: Traditional Thanksgiving meal and other menu items from $24.95 to $38.95.
Forepaugh's: Their family-style Thanksgiving dinner is $24.95 ($12.95 for kids under 12) from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Loring Pasta Bar: For $17.95, enjoy Loring's traditional Thanksgiving buffet and a limited regular menu from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
McCormick & Schmick's, Minneapolis: If their seafood isn't your idea of Thanksgiving, try the "Endless" Thanksgiving Special--a traditional turkey dinner for $22.95
Ruth's Chris Steak House: Besides the usual steaks, Ruth's will offer a traditional three-course turkey dinner for $34.95 ($12 for children 12 and under).
Spasso Minnetonka: Spasso's walk-through Thanksgiving buffet will feature carved turkey, roast beef, stuffing, potatoes, smoked salmon, pies, and more for $19 ($11 for kids), from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Tria: Tuck into a traditional Thanksgiving dinner and other menu items from $28 to $42.
