The exquisitely tasteful bakery off Marshall in Saint Paul's Merriam Park neighborhood will soon be getting a Minneapolis sister store.  Owner Ly Lo says they are hoping for a mid-December opening for their new storefront at 4747 Nicollet Avenue in Minneapolis, the former site of Madwoman Foods.

Expect the same elegant surroundings and delectable treats as the St. Paul store, for now.  Once they get up and running there are bigger plans in store.  Lo kept mum on what that means, but we are assured that it will be approachably aristocratic and a destination for discerning palates.

In the immediate future, stop by today for special holiday flavors, including Sweet Stuffing, Sweet Potato, Cranberry Orange, and Pumpkin Pie cupcakes for only $30 for a regular-sized dozen or $15 for a dozen of their teeny mini-sized cupcakes.
