Beer Dabbler sold out, but you can still get tickets
Once again Twin Cities beer fans have demonstrated their insatiable desire for good beer and their willingness to support those that provide it. Advance tickets for the Beer Dabbler Winter Carnival event scheduled for Saturday in Mears Park have sold out. But you don't need to be left out in the cold.

For those not drinking, Designated Driver tickets are still available for $10. Beer Dabbler organizer Matt Kenevan is also making a limited number of tickets available at the door. 300 full-admission tickets will go on sale at the gate at 2:30 PM. The cost is $35 and sales are first come, first served. Once you've bought your last-minute ticket, you'll need to get in line with the others waiting to get into the event.

This year's expanded event promises to be a good one. Over 200 beers will be available, including rare kegs from Sierra Nevada and Odell. Odell Brewing Co. founder Doug Odell will be on hand to kick off the festivities. Two local bands will provide entertainment. A fireworks display will send the whole thing over the top.
